Dear All,

This is special offering from the generosity of Jim Waddick. If you
are interested in obtaining one of them, please email me PRIVATELY at
<dells@voicenet.com>. Include "BX 132" in the subject line.

It is a good idea to include your snail mail address too, in case I don't
already have it. Availability is based on a first come, first served system.
When you receive your bulbs you will find, included with them, a statement
of how much money (cash, check, or Paypal to <theotherjen8@yahoo.com>; no
money orders, please) you should send the PBS treasurer to defray our costs
for packing and first-class postage. Some of you are members of the online
PBS discussion forum but are not members of the Pacific Bulb Society. THIS
BX OFFERING IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO MEMBERS OF THE PBS. Consider joining the
PBS so that you can take advantage of future offers such as this. Go to our
website: <http://www.pacificbulbsociety.org/> ....

Or contact me at dells@voicenet.com . If you would like to donate
seeds or bulbs/corms to the PBS, please send CLEAN, clearly labeled material
to:

donations.

PLEASE NOTE: I WILL REPLY TO YOU WITHIN 24 HRS OF MY RECEIPT OF YOUR
ORDER.

IF YOU DO NOT HEAR FROM ME, TRY AGAIN !!

From Jim Waddick:

Bulbs of Scadoxus puniceus: "These were originally received from a botanic
garden as S. abyssinicus, but this name is incorrect.

Subsequent bloom confirmed their correct ID. These bulbs are blooming or
near blooming size. They should be planted with bulb barely covered and kept
on the dry side all winter. I have grown these in large pots kept bone dry
from Oct to Feb or March when they naturally start up growth again. The
planting medium was mostly coarse gravel to small stones and some portion of
soiless mix. They form a sturdy bloom stalk separate from the pseudostem and
leaves which follow bloom closely."

These bulbs are available one to a customer, and we ask for a donation of
$5.00 each PLUS the cost of shipping. No overseas orders, please. Supply is
very limited.

Thank you, Jim !!

Best wishes,

Dell

Dell Sherk, Director, PBS BX
