hi all, i have an image of nerine gracilis on my web site at: http://shieldsgardens.com/amaryllids/… nerine gracilis is summer growing, with very small flowers having relatively broad petals. there are some mis-named nerines in circulation among rare bulb afficianados. some i have received include non-gibsonii, non-hessioides, and non-forbesii. these are not typical anything, but each is close to some recognized species. so i try to think of them as forms of the similar species. they all have the virtues of reproducing themselves, either vegetatively or by seeds, and of flowering in cultivation. without the latter trait, i doubt that bulbophiles would continue to grow them and pass them on. jim shields in central indiana usa ************************************************* Jim Shields USDA Zone 5 Shields Gardens, Ltd.
