Hi,

I've never been able to keep this one growing long enough to bloom in the
parts of California where I have lived. I've tried seed and bulbs. I have
concluded since Brodiaea, Dichelostemma, and Triteleia species are all
really easy for me to grow and have blue flowers, that I'd have more luck
expanding those species in my collection. Like Jane I expected having a dry
summer was not enough and it may not be cold enough here or perhaps its too
wet in winter. So Kelly's post is interesting that someone in Oregon has
success. Still I do better with bulbs from climates similar to mine in
California than those from China.
