Hi, Here is a Brunsvigia that we believe is Brunsvigia josephinae,
can anyone confirm?

It's from the Swartberg pass fairly low down, in Western Cape South
Africa,
from the 11th February. We first thought it was B.orientalis, but the
field
guides say that is a more coastal species, Brunsvigia josephinae seems
to be
more mountainous. Is there a way of seeing the difference, we haven't
been
able to find a description of that. It was growing half-way down a hill
so
we had to use binoculars to see it, the photo is taken at 560mm focal
length.
Even so we were delighted to see it, as it was the only Brunsvigia we
saw
on our trip.
Best regards Neil
