My local Big Lots dollar-type store and various ethnic stores sell cinnamon (probably cassia) much cheaper than that. We use cinnamon to keep ants out of the house. Just put down a line of it and they won't cross it. This works well in dry California. My comment was too hasty. I'm also thinking expensive, though, with powdered cinnamon at about $5.00 an avoirdupois ounce here in the U.S. For limited applications, pehaps worth it.
