Re the price of cinnamon, I was using the price of a bottle of McCormick's 
Saigon cinnamon as my reference.

Probaby the expensive stuff for ice cream, cinnamon toast, and high style 
cookery ,etc.  Just short of 2 oz. = 50 grams.  I could buy it cheaper 
somewhere else,, no doubt. .
