Hello All,
Very dramatical flowering indeed. I believe that this species is now 
officially Dracunculus muscivorous, which seems quite logical to me. 
Originally from the mediterranean islands Mallorca (Baléares)à and 
Sardinia and is very much aty ease in our gardens here. The plant  can 
easily be distinghuised from D vulgaris (apart from  it flowers) by the 
shape of its leaves (a single long lobe, D vulgaris:  tri lobes with white 
markings)
