Linda,

Clivia seed sometimes gernimates in transit and if the inspectors are not tipped off about this possibility, they might consider them to be plants.

Subject: [pbs] new import rules ?

Hello All,

Has anyone heard if there are new import laws to bring seed into Canada,
specifically clivia seed? I had a parcel destroyed from South Africa, and
the paperwork stated that there was no phytosanitary certificate or import
permit.  This is a first.  Trying to get through to anyone is like pulling
teeth.
