Isn't digest mode a relic nowadays? With yahoo mail, google mail, etc. people can have "unlimited" storage space for free -- and connection speed is effectively removed from the equation. And even the problem of people not cropping out old message text is irrelevant now because google automatically hides the excess stuff anyway. All you see is the new content. And I can check google mail from my cell phone. So if I happen to be away from home for the weekend, and Dell publishes PBS BX 302, well I'll still be able to catch it before returning home Sunday night.
