New Books

Hi,
... I live in a small town near to a small city ... but in Poland, with no
access to world botanical literature. Now it is possible - in theory - to me
to buy any book printed in the world.
But first problem is a price - of book and of shipping.
The second problem is that many books are out of print and inaccessible,
even as used ones. In one case I even wrote to Timber Press with a question
if they were going to republish a title - as it is inaccessible 2 -3 years
after printing, so I guessed people would buy it - but the answer was "no!".
Third problem is that many botanical works are edited in local scientific
magazines not available anywhere. Tell me, how to find any of this
literature cited in "The Color Encyclopedia of Cape Bulbs", published in
South African magazines???
And for the end - the last problem is the lack of English - Polish botanical
dictionary ...

Dear Friends,
I live in a small town near to a small city. When I want to
read a new highly specialized publication, I go to my local tiny
library ....
