var. formosanum and var. pricei are not synonyms, more antonyms - 
they're the two possibilities out of two, until someone invents other 
variants.

Anyway sounds good, at 3ft. does not sound like var pricei - discussion 
about this species a couple of days back.

It reminds me what I noticed about my really nice specimens (second 
photo, top of this page):

was that the pollen was brown and ones from other sources had yellow 
pollen.
