Very basic Lachenalia questions

I live in Auckland, New Zealand (supposedly subtropical) The
Lachenalias have just finished and are going dormant. I am curious as
to what constitutes 'cool' temperatures. Mine are fine outside, where
daytime temperatures range from 15-19ºC, nightime 11-12ºC. Are those
considered 'cool' temperatures. They are exposed to the weather (spring
weather so quite a lot of rain) and in well draining mix, wicking the
water from under the pots. Quite a few were given to me, so am getting
quite a selection. And am growing more seeds I was sent.

The L. aloides has been growing in the garden for years, also a yellow
one which is a hybrid of some sort. Possibly L. Romaud.
