for konjac fans

The big titan arum flowered at the US Botanic Garden again this year, and when that happens there usually follows a buzz among local aroid growers about the related Amorphophallus konjac. This year I was able to provide local konjac growers with an image of something we've known about for years, something most of us had not actually seen. Take a look here: http://mcwort.blogspot.com/2016/08/…

Have any of you tried it? 

Jim McKenneyMontgomery County, Maryland, USA, USDA zone 7, where one-time-lily-family member Smilax laurifolia is in full bloom: the individual flowers are about 1/8 inch across and are mostly 15-20 feet up in a crepe myrtle.
