Hacking Apart a Very Pot Bound Clivia

All Clivia species, except for one recently-discovered one, are native to the Eastern part of South Africa, which has summer rainfall. Heavy rain, often.  I was on a beach once and was warned away by the police because of the danger of a flash flood coming down a nearby river.
