You're welcome, Kathleen! I'm delighted that they're finally blooming. The person we should really remember and thank is Les Hannibal. He bred these flowers for decades, tossing the excess seeds onto his one-acre sloping backyard shaded by pecan trees. Eventually he ended up with thousands of Amaryllis hybrids in every color from pure white to dark dusky pink. I wish you could have seen the place when those plants were all in bloom. It looked like fairyland. When he was in his 80s, Les allowed several of us to dig bulbs from his property. Those bulbs, or their direct offspring, were the ones that produced your seeds. Les is no longer with us, but whenever I see his plants in bloom I remember his generosity. He set a great example for all of us.
