Tricks to germinate Alstroemeriaceae family

My fault on Jelitto's names -- they list alternatives in parentheses, but I
was trying to be efficient. They do update names
in the catalog, but please remember they have to communicate with growers
who may not know about taxonomic changes.
It's a problem in the trade. Not everyone is elite. Those who are can
afford to be patient, especially members of a group
that purports to welcome all levels of bulb enthusiasts.
