Jim,

Have you ever heard of using an extract of tuberose as a flavoring?

thrives in wet soil when it is in active growth. And
hasn't Jim Waddick mentioned seeing Lycoris growing on
the dykes of rice paddies in China? Polianthes tuberosa,
which is known only as a cultivated plant, was one of the
plants grown by the Aztecs on their floating gardens near
Mexico City. After reading about that, I tried tuberoses in
pots standing in water at the edge of a pond - they did very
 well.

 pond from all the rain.
