Hippeastrum x Zephyranthes hybrid

Interesting theory.  Do you see any change in growth pattern?  Z. atamasco is strictly summer dormant and winter growing.  It's also very hardy.   Have any of the  seedlings displayed those traits?

I would like some opinions about whether this the plant in these photos
could possibly be such a hybrid.

Let me tell you the story of this plant to explain why I think it MIGHT
possibly be such a hybrid. Several years ago I was performing a lot of
crosses of Hippeastrum cultivars. In particular, I successfully crossed two
Komoriya hybrids "Piyo Piyo" and "Moonshine", both of which produce four
yellow, outward-facing flowers per scape, and both appear to have a lot of
H. evansiae in them. I had collected their pollen in eppendorf tubes.
Curiously, several of the developing seed capsules behaved in a way that I
have never observed before or since. The seeds in these capsules grew much
faster than the capsules themselves, so the capsules split open when the
seeds were still quite immature. Most of these "fast seeds" failed to
germinate because they did not get the chance to fully develop. But I was
successful in germininating a few.  Based on photos I took at the time, I
know that Zephyranthes atamasco was blooming in my yard at the same time.
That year I collected pollen from it with plans to attempt crosses with
some summer-flowering Zephyranthes. So there would have been a real
possibility that I accidentally grabbed the wrong tube of pollen at some
time when pollinating some of the flowers.

I grew several seedlings of these crosses to maturity, but one is very
unusual. The plat produces two upright, radially symmetric flowers per
scape. It has bloomed three time so far, and the flowers are always this
way. I have attached some photos from 2017 showing the flowers, including
side-by-size comparison with A. atamasco.

What do you think?
