I'm a newbie, please bear with my note

Bridget,

Thank you so much for addressing the question that I have about the BX and SX. I haven’t had the opportunity to look into it yet. Being from Central Texas, I’m not sure that the West Coast would be be interested in exchanging any bulbs with me. I’ve got to pour over that information, probably this weekend. All my bulbs have to be hot weather bulbs. But, maybe someone will be interested. I don’t know how your BX works - whether you find something that someone has and arrange to exchange directly with them. But, I’ll learn once I get into and dig a little deeper. I’m encouraged to do that now.

I’ve been watching your weather up there. I have a couple of friends who live in Bronx, so I follow their weather pretty carefully. Northern US was hit real hard this year with all that snow. I have no idea how ya’ll make it up there. I hope it moves on pretty soon, but sure looks like a line struck out through that entire area. Stay warm. Thank God you have a blessing of seeing your bulbs bloom. Our death is somewhere in the 60s with no blooms in site. No snow either.

Thx again,
Crystal

But the eranthis and galanthus are blooming, the jeffersonia in the cold-frame is blooming (the ground was frozen when it arrived in December and I had no choice), the plant catalogs are still arriving, the local plant sales start in 2 weeks and I think I’ve made it through another winter.
