There are photos of some Hammett hybrids on the Jury website in New Zealand - https://jury.co.nz/tag/tree-dahlias/ Abbie Jury describes how she cuts the old stems with a couple of nodes, like William does, but lays them flat, covers with 10 cm of soil, and then makes cuttings when they sprout. I’ll try that. Then I’ll have some extra plants to experiment with outside somewhere sheltered.
