Calochortus seedling questions

I am in Zone 9 also and have had them from seed for about 3 years now. Mine
do not like the hot summers, but have come back in the fall, so far for 2
years now.
They get morning sun and afternoon shade and are in 1 gallon pots that have
a quick draining mix. Fall and spring water, then dry and they go dormant
for me.
Will see what happens next year, but are still growing fine right now, but
we have had a cool spring to this point.
