Hi Steve, I have a pond with a filtering bog attached (Nelson Water Gardens method). The plants that like to grow for me in "wet feet and dry ankles" are : Sarracenias, Helonias bullata, Dachtilorhyzas, Spiranthes, Calopogon tuberosus, Schizostylis coccinea, Bletilla striata, Zephyranthes and a dwarf cranberries called "Hamilton" just to name a few. None of the above will be too aggressive.
