Dang! I wonder if it's that particular species, or if all the summer-growing
Glads are like that.

I've often thought I ought to try crossing the summer and winter growing
Glads. There were reports that Prof. Koopowitz had a lot of success doing
that at UC Irvine, but I never heard details.
