deer and bulbs

Approximately 100 miles inland from Kathleen, deer also eat trillium, even
though they are native here. They also chomp early growth of *Iris
latifolia* to the ground every year.

I never expect deer to do anything consistently. They always prove me
wrong eventually.

On the south coast of Washington, deer definitely eat trilliums. I have 3
