When I have time, I add photos that people have sent to the list to the wiki so they won't be lost. This would be a great job for a new volunteer or two. I'd be happy to teach that volunteer how to do it. As Robin writes, providing information as you attach a photo as she suggests makes it even easier since that information can be copied and added to the wiki. In addition I have often seen items offered in one of the seed or bulb exchange for a species we don't have on the wiki and wished that the donor could provide a photo and information for the wiki. I know that is asking even more of the donor, but I expect a lot of people look at the wiki to decide whether or not they want to request an item and are disappointed when nothing is there. We don't have many volunteers working on the wiki at the moment so not much new information is getting added so we could really use some infusion of new energy. To all of you on the list - please consider sending them to the wiki because so many of you grow such uncommon bulbs and we are still missing a lot of bulb photos. Also consider sending as much information as you can about propagation, growing, where they're native, etc. I search quite often for that information and sometimes don't find it, plus comments from a variety of areas about growing really helps, as do close-ups of seeds and bulbs. > _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net http://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/… Unsubscribe: <mailto:pbs-unsubscribe@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net>
