I grow both species. L. viridiflora has varieties with and without spotted
leaves. It blooms now in the Northern Hemisphere. L vanzyliae blooms in the
spring. The colors are similar, but to me L. viridiflora is more uniformly
teal-blue colored throughout the flower, while L. vanzyliae is teal on the
shoulder but more greenish lower down.

Both are awesome species well worth growing!
