Edibility of Bulbs - Allium - Round up

I use generic glyphosate concentrate from my local co-op and always add a generous dose of Hi-Yield spreader/sticker.  It really helps for many shiny-leaved weeds (e.g., vinca, which is darn hard to kill even then).  I have seen no evidence that the wetting agent interferes with the activity.  This is my go-to strategy because I hate pulling weeds.

Despite considering myself a master of the surgical strike, once in a while my aim is off and when my TB iris bloom, there will be an anemic-looking flower or two.  Same basic colors as they should be, but small, pale, and non-ruffled.  This is Roundup damage as expressed in iris.  Doesn't kill the plant, but the impact on the current bloom is very characteristic!
