Iris reticulata, how many years to bloom

Jane, thank you very much! This is exactly the kind of first-hand
information I was looking for. Most websites and books say that these begin
to bloom from year 5 to 7, but mine are right at 3 or 4, so it is helpful
to know that this one probably came from seed and I haven't gone insane by
planting a single purple bulb that I don't remember. :) Thank you!
