I used to work near the arboretum. I visited the South African bulb garden
a few times during the winter blooming season. Mimosa for perfume was in
full bloom. The South African bulb garden was impressive. There was an
event, which was conducted by the Professor of environmental study. I also
remember that there was a green house, and some plants were for sale. They
have to move or close? It was a peaceful place.
