The blender ploy works great for lots of things.  I took the scraps from trimming tomatillos, put in a bunch of water and let 'er rip.  All the seeds were completely intact on the bottom after pouring off the water.

 Robert,

Have you ever tried cleaning your aroid seeds in a blender? Fill it half
full of water, toss in the seeds, and give it a few pulses. Pour it out
through a strainer, and spread the remaining seeds and skins on a towel.
Let dry, and the seeds are easily separated from the 'chaff'.

Works like a charm, with no damage whatsoever to the seeds. I've only
tried it with arisaemas, but it should work with most aroids.

I have memories of trying to clean arisaema seeds in a backwater hotel
in Yunnan many years ago. My hands were painful for days afterwards.
Something to do with the oxalate crystals. Tony A was there...
