This tuberous member of the Campanulaceae is indeed beautiful. However, 
if you're growing it in a pot, as Dan Pogust is,  you need to watch out 
that it doesn't plug up the drainage holes and rot. That happened to the 
first one I grew, and I'm being more careful with my still immature 
plant. Paeonia can suicide the same way.
