Vinyl Plant Labels

Until I can find a source for old miniblinds, as Jane and others have
suggested, I use vinyl tags, reluctantly.

The type of plastic matters - it is the vinyl/PVC/polyvinyl chloride that I
use; writing on the less shiny side, as many others have suggested, with a lead
softer than No. 2 pencil. The vinyl tags do degrade, but not nearly as
fast as the styrene (polystyrene) labels, which I avoid. One common form
of the styrene labels is the broader width with squared off top corners,
sometimes becoming brittle in only one season.
At least, this has been my experience.
