Mary Sue, Amaryllis belladonna flowers when rains start after a dry summer rest. The months are variable because rainfall start times are inconsistent. Southern hemisphere bloom times should be 6 mos out of phase in the northern hemisphere. I think that season of bloom is more helpful than calendar months; but, I think some clue about bloom time is better than silence.
