Yes, U.S. postage to Canada is outrageous. Bubble wrap envelopes cost about $17 for the postage. > Mary Sue Ittner via pbs <pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net> wrote: > > > When Beth was kind enough to distribute my Nerine seeds that needed to be planted promptly she inquired about sending them to Canada and was told it would cost $52 to send them (and this for a small box with a few seeds.) She had experimented sending these seeds in a letter envelope in bubble wrap to me to see if this would be a cheaper option, but we both concluded if the seed was to remain viable that wasn't going to work. She didn't think anyone would be willing to reimburse her for that amount. Perhaps Canada should consider doing their own exchange like Uli and Martin do for the EU. I have no idea how many members there are in Canada to make this worthwhile. It was certainly easier to share with other countries in the past. > > Mary Sue Diane Whitehead Victoria, British Columbia, Canada _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net https://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/… Unsubscribe: <mailto:pbs-unsubscribe@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net> PBS Forum https://…
