Polianthes new cultivars

Interesting. I see how you have to do one or the other.

Somehow, I don't have strong feelings on that choice, since it doesn't
bother me when a genus includes wildly varying plant forms. I suppose it
ought not to, given that my favorite cultivated genus is Oxalis.
