US citizens should remember their US Representatives and Senators are there to be contacted about actions of US government agencies, and to intervene on your behalf. Call their office near you. Ask to speak with the local staff. Explain your issues to them. The irrationality of irradiating sterile culture flasks should be easily understood by non-scientists.
