I placed another order with Komoriya on 4/30 and received the hippeastrum bulbs on 5/10. There were no extra charges or tariffs attached to the order and the shipping charges were normal.Delivery time was 10 days from ordering which is phenomenal since every other time it was a 3-week minimum before I would receive them. Because my days of ordering dozens of bulbs at a timeare way behind me, I've let my permit expire and am now importing under APHIS's 12 and under rule. It's basically the same as having a permit, only there is a cap of 12 or under plants/bulbs. Thereis no permit or import label required but you must follow all the rules and regulations set by APHIS. You can find all the information needed in the "General" section of the APHIS website if interested. I've imported from several sellers on eBay without issue over the last few years. However, I've done my homework with these sellers before ordering to make sure they have shipped to the US before and have an acceptable phyto cert. Most legitimate sellers will be more than happy to answer your questions, but you also have to be aware not all sellers are legit. Cost is sometimes an issue especially with the phyo cert, but that all depends on how bad you want the bulb/plant. Next month I am going to place an order out of Thailand to see how that goes. Hopefully, there will be no tariffsor excessive fees to pay. Rob in Pennsylvania where much need rain is on the way. _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net https://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/… Unsubscribe: <mailto:pbs-unsubscribe@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net> PBS Forum https://…
