If I'm remembering correctly, when ripe, the soft red flesh of the berry will wipe off the fleshy seed, which can be shipped clean. If the flesh is firm, ship the berry clean and intact. Use paper packing material, glassine or toilet paper for bulk, and if shipping berries, don't crowd them in case one starts moulding. The bare seeds can be shipped easily as long as they are not damaged...a few days in glassine are no problem. As Arnolds says, ship in a box, automated machinery will squish a padded envelope flat.
