about twenty years ago i was collecting lots of seeds of this for PBS BX but what i didn't know was almost all of the seeds are host to a beetle larva egg. unless stored in freezing temps they hatch and eat the seed from within and emerge as an adult.... very unpleasant surprise to find a bag full of dead beetles and no viable seeds after a few weeks! eventually i realized freezing them would stop the larvae from hatching. and then scarifying the seeds out of the freezer would get them to germinate before the larvae could harm them. but honestly I'd be nervous to ship overseas. I'm not even sure where to collect them, the wild stands i knew of are gone. but I'll have a look around.
