If they are what they eat, it will depend on your
collection/favorites.
I think my squirrels would be mostly interspecies hybrid
mixes. Definitely part Hazelnut. They seem to be fertile and
self-sowing to the point of weedyness around here. I think I
heard they are endangered up in Washington State.
