diagnostic photos (was The Wisdom of Mary Sue..)

It is up to us to make the photos on the wiki helpful for identifying  
plants.

   Galanthus (snowdrops) are in flower now, so I checked the wiki to  
see if someone could use it to identify them.

Snowdrops are rather unusual, because the species that are common in  
cultivation are not identified by their flowers, but mainly by their  
leaves, and in particular by the way in which the leaves emerge from  
the ground.

So - did any of us (including me) post pictures useful for identifying  
the species?  No.

OK.  When it stops raining, I'll take some leaf pictures.
