Best way to ship evergreen species

I will have some Haemanthus albiflos seedlings ready for a future BX offering.  As they are evergreen here in NE Los Angeles, and a member of the Amaryllidaceae with (I think) perennial roots, what would be the best way to prepare them for shipping?
What about Brunsvigia, dormant, but with perennial roots?

Eagle Rock - sunny today after a light rain yesterday, but the coolest morning of this winter that I can remember, but still only down to 39 F.  Most winters here get down to 33-34 F.
