Greetings Danny. Last year I was able to put quite a bit of M. plumbea seed in an SX. I currently have a couple of pots of seedlings, far more than I can use. I would be happy to pot out a few if you are able to pick them up- that’s the rub. The seedlings are in growth now and would not ship well. I am in Gettysburg, PA. Let me know if you are reasonably placed to come for them. John Bartlett. Zone 6B-7A..

Subject: [pbs] Sourcing Seeds/ Bulbs for Merwilla plumbea

Hello all,

This is my very first post to the list, so hopefully I do this right. I
apologize in advance if this goes terribly wrong.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a reliable place to buy seeds or bulbs of
Merwilla plumbea (formerly known as Scilla natalensis). They seem
relatively easy to grow so I wanted to try my hand at them. I have seen
some places listing the seeds such as Etsy but question their viability as
I have read the seeds don't store for very long. Thanks for any advice.
