Jane,
Not more than 60 seconds ago a beautiful mature doe (she had twins last
season) sauntered across our unfenced 20+ acre field maybe 100 feet past
the veggie garden and small orchard. Ever watchful, Fred the Giant
Schnauzer gave his deer specific warning from inside the house and the doe
pranced into the swamp. We have a 1500 square foot fenced-in run off of the
kitchen door for the beastie; his bark keeps the riff-raff away.
