Membership benefits include our newsletter, The Bulb Garden, a biennial member directory and the Bulb & Seed Exchange (BX), where you'll be able to order unusual species not normally seen in the trade offered at nominal prices. From time to time, we may also make available other member-only offerings such as group bulb orders.
This organization is about sharing - knowledge, plant material and appreciation of all aspects of growing bulbs, including corms, rhizomes, tubers and geophytes. If you haven't done so already, we hope you'll join our online PBS list. This is where our group communicates with one another. It is also the only place where our frequent BX offerings are announced. If you're not subscribed to the list, you will not learn of the BX offerings unless you make special notification arrangements. Subscribers can also contribute to the PBS wiki, a compendium of bulb information that is continually expanding.
After you pay by credit card or PayPal you will be directed to the membership application which we ask you to complete. This information will not be shared and is used solely by PBS for our membership records and member directory. However, note the box you may check if you wish that it not appear in the member directory.
If you prefer to send a check by mail, you may fill in the membership application and mail it in with your check.
Please note our memberships follow the calendar year, dues are not prorated, and we do send renewal reminders. New members joining on or after October 1 will earn membership for the balance of the current year and for one calendar year thereafter.
If you need to change address details or have other membership questions please contact Jane McGary.
We look forward to your participation. You can use credit card or PayPal to subscribe from the form below. Existing members please select the Renewal button, this will allow you to pay for any BX arrears at the same time and avoid repeating your personal details.
