The family Solanaceae is mostly herbaceous and contains few plants describable as “bulbs”. It includes many important economic plants, mostly or entirely native to the Americas:
- potato (Solanum tuberosum)
- tomato
- eggplant
- chili and bell peppers
Only the genus Mandragora would seem to be of interest to bulb enthusiasts and even that is marginal.
