Leptoceras (R.Br.) Lindl. is a genus in the Orchidaceae family endemic to Australia. It has one recognized species that is widely distributed in many states where it is found in forest and heathlands on a variety of soils.
Leptoceras menziesii (R.Br.) Lindl., syn. Caladenia menziesii R.Br., is commonly known as the Rabbit or Hare Orchid. It is a terrestrial tuberous orchid with reddish pink and white flowers. Flowers have two broad white sepals projecting forwards and two long red ear-like petals erect behind the flower. There is a single bright green ovate basal leaf.
