Schizochilus is an African genus of terrestrial orchids in the Orchidaceae family. Eight of the about 20 species are found in South Africa.
Schizochilus zeyheri is found in montane grassland from the Eastern Cape to the Northern Province of South Africa. It is tuberous and has large bright yellow flowers in a dense nodding spike. Photos by Cameron McMaster
