Alocasia rugosa (Desf.) Schott in 2025 is considered to be a synonym of Alocasia cucullata (Lour.) G.Don. It is a small plant with stiff, dark green leaves that look and feel like plastic. Height range: 1-2 ft. Photos taken May 2007 by Jay Yourch.
