Ferraria flava Goldblatt & J.C.Manning (published in 2011), syn. Ferraria divaricata ssp. aurea M.P.de Vos, is a rare species, known from only eight locations distributed in the sandveld in coastal areas from Namaqualand to the Western Cape (Lamberts Bay and Klawer), South Africa.
